Can demalive be used on anyone?

  • It is not indicated for use in pregnancy, children or anyone with known hypersensitivity to the product.

  • It should not be used if the person is unwell or has any collagen or immune disorder.
  • Medications such as aspirin taken within 7 days of treatment will increase risk of bruising so tell you doctor about any medications you are on.
  • Treatment will be postponed if there is any skin infection, dermatitis or inflammation in the area to be treated.
  • Tell the doctor if you get cold sores especially if you are wishing treatment around the mouth or lips.
  • There are special anti-viral tablets now that can be prescribed before treatment. If you have has a cold sore then defer your treatment for at least 2 weeks.
  • Caution is necessary if you have allergy conditions.
  • Caution is necessary if treatment is needed in areas where previous skin filler has been implanted.
  • Laser treatment and deeper skin peels over the injected areas should be performed first. Then later Dermalive injections.
